NM4 — Central Nervous System and Meninges
Evaluation and mobilization of the spinal and cranial meninges, the brain and the spinal cord. Advanced work for complex neurological conditions.
Synopsis
NM4 is the most advanced level of the Neural series. Participants learn how to evaluate and treat the central nervous system itself — meninges, brain and spinal cord — with specific Barral techniques.
The course is designed for experienced practitioners who want to safely address post-concussion syndromes, post-traumatic sequelae, chronic headaches and complex neurological presentations.
What you will work on
Dura mater · Arachnoid · Brain lobes · Brainstem · Spinal cord · CSF dynamics
Learning objectives
- →Describe the anatomy of the central nervous system relevant to manual work
- →Evaluate and mobilize the spinal and cranial meninges
- →Apply specific techniques to the brain and spinal cord
- →Address post-concussion, post-traumatic and chronic CNS conditions
- →Integrate CNS work safely within a global treatment plan
