Curriculum

The complete training path, from foundational listening to the most advanced Barral techniques.

  • VM1 — The Abdomen (recommended starting course)

Core visceral series

  • New Manual Articular Approach: MASP (spine & pelvis), MAUE (upper limb), MALE (lower limb)
  • Advanced Visceral: VMAT, AVMHC, AVMVOR, BICADD, SCB1
  • Manual Approach to the Brain (MATB1–MATB4)

Toward BI Diplomate

Completing the core visceral and neural series and several advanced courses puts you on the path to the BI Diplomate credential. This is the highest recognition within the Barral Institute network and opens the door to teaching-assistant roles and collaboration with the international faculty.

Not sure which course to start with?

Most practitioners begin with VM1, optionally preceded by LT1 if they want to sharpen their listening touch first. If you are unsure, send us a message and we will advise you based on your professional background.
